Project "Swings" by Jenny Belotserkovsky and Michal Tavrovsky

Both artists were always fascinated with the whole idea of swings: the illusion of freedom – fear of heights - the moment of safety – the breathtaking second of embracing the whole world around you. 

Thereafter comes another cycle of life and death, illusion and reality, fear and escalation, sky and earth. This dual nature of swings, with child-like attraction to sudden and swift changes in perception, has subconscious impact on both artists. The imprints of their associative memory are realized in the series of paintings.
